Frequently asked questions
When do you meet?
We have regular practice sessions every Friday from 4-6 PM at the SRAC. Additional meeting times may be announced for special events and tournaments.
What skill level is required?
We welcome players of all skill levels! Whether you're a beginner just starting out or an experienced player, there's a place for you in our club.
Do I need my own equipment?
Yes you do need your own equipment, we sadly cannot give out rackets or shoes to our players.however if you come to practice empty handed you could always ask a fellow member to borrow a racket!
How do I join the club?
To join the club you would need to come to tryouts at the beginning of each semester! Tryout information will always be posted on our instagram and discord, so make sure to follow them to be up to date!
Are there membership fees?
Yes, each member is expected to pay a due of $130 for the entire semester. Each members' dues will cover training equipment and the team bonding retreat!
What should I bring to practice?
Bring badminton shoes and rackets. To not damage the courts, we ask our players to please bring badminton specific shoes.
